These Terms of Service govern the reservation, technical restoration, and delivery of authentic commercial arcade cabinets, vintage electro-mechanical reel machines, pinball overhauls, and related spare parts provided by Vintage Fruit Machine Works Ltd (registered in England and Wales).

2. Domestic Recreation and Collector Classification
All restored electro-mechanical machinery, commercial arcade cabinets, and spinning reel units supplied by Vintage Fruit Machine Works Ltd are re-engineered and supplied strictly for private domestic recreational entertainment, private collector appreciation, and social museum exhibition.
Under UK regulations, all reel-spinning equipment operates exclusively using brass souvenir tokens (100 custom tokens supplied with each unit) or push-button internal free-play circuits. Under no circumstances do our machines provide cash payouts, banking facilities, or real-money wagering. Commercial exploitation in licensed recreational play premises is strictly prohibited under our supply agreement.
3. Ordering, Reservations and No-Online-Charge Checkout
Due to the bespoke nature, weight, and specialized logistical requirements of commercial amusement equipment, our online checkout operates as an equipment reservation and pro-forma invoice request system.
No credit card numbers or automated payments are processed through this website. When you confirm your reservation, our Bristol engineering desk examines your delivery postcode, building access dimensions, and power specifications. A formal pro-forma invoice and scheduled delivery date are then issued directly to the customer.
4. Pricing, Quotations and Logistics Calculations
All machine prices displayed on the website are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£ GBP). Complete restored cabinets include complimentary standard ground-floor UK mainland white-glove transport unless complex access stairs or non-mainland ferry crossings are involved. Technical restoration and bespoke joinery services are quoted individually following physical inspection or video assessment.
5. White-Glove Transport and Inspection on Arrival
We take extraordinary care in transporting heavy commercial machines. Deliveries are executed by our dedicated two-person logistics crew using air-suspension vehicles with hydraulic tail lifts.
Equipment is delivered blanket-wrapped directly into your ground-floor room of choice. Our technicians level the cabinet, plug it into your standard 230V socket, power up the internal electronics, and demonstrate proper token operation before signing the handover manifest. Customers must ensure doorway clear widths of at least 75cm for standard cabinets.
6. 24-Month Domestic Limited Warranty
Every complete arcade machine and electro-mechanical reel unit leaving our Bristol bench is accompanied by our comprehensive 2-Year Workshop Limited Warranty.
Coverage includes:
- Switching and linear power supply components and transformers.
- Video monitors, LCD displays, inverter boards, and CRT chassis.
- Reel stepper motors, optical home sensors, and mechanical indexers.
- Control deck joysticks, microswitches, and illuminated buttons.
- Audio amplifiers, speakers, and chime solenoids.
Warranty coverage excludes damage resulting from water ingress, domestic power surges, physical transit attempted by unauthorized third parties, or deliberate tampering with internal earthing wires.
7. 14-Day Collector Return Policy
In full accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, private domestic consumers retain the right to cancel their equipment purchase within 14 calendar days of physical delivery.
To exercise your right to return, submit written notice to our Bristol office at info@vintagefruitmachineworks.com. The equipment must remain in its delivered showroom condition, un-tampered, and available for scheduled collection by our white-glove transport vehicle.
8. Governing Law and English Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service and any contract entered into with Vintage Fruit Machine Works Ltd shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
